• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Dave's guess the car game

You guys are hysterical! You love giving the answers to your questions :roflblack:I give my students the answer in bold lettering and they still get it wrong. Got to change the jpeg title before you upload the picture Ron

Welcome to the club......

I'd guess that it's an early version of the BMW Isetta 250, cos while it doesn't have the right hub-caps, it's got the bowl headlights bolted separately onto the sides of the body, not integrated in a fairing like the Italian/Spanish/French/Brazilian/Argentinean versions; and cos it's still got the bubble windows & not the sliding windows, so it's probably a 1955 model made some time that year but after April? :dontknow: BMW went to the sliding windows & then the 300 cc motor in 1956. But I am guessing on that one...

DING DING!

Isetta

• Year introduced: 1956

• Manufacturer: BMW

The Isetta from BMW was another "bubble car" from the 1950s. When the three-wheeled vehicle first debuted, it was powered by a small 9.5 horsepower engine. The manufacturers later added a fourth wheel in back to keep it from tipping over. GO FIGURE! Getting into the car was a challenge. There were no side doors, so passengers entered by opening the door at the front of the vehicle. Once inside, passengers sat on a bench. The car got very good gas mileage and travelers could put larger luggage on an outside rack for longer trips.
