• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

After about 6 months of successful operating, now the front heasdset dropped out.
If I connect my helmet to the front plug, I get no sound.
If I connect my helmet to the passenger plug, everything works fine. It appears all the electronics are still functioning.
I suspect there is a connection from the front plug to the entertainment harness that fell off.
I'm taking my spyder into the dealer on Wed for some general service. They installed the system, I'm sure they'll stand by it, I just hope the repair is as simple as I think it might be.

And this morning and this eveneing, everything worked perfectly. I HATE intermittent failures. They are so difficult to troubleshoot.

I have the J & M set up on the SE5 and the helmet cord as well as the lower cord where crap . I replaced 3 cords between the 2 headsets in the first year . I've since gone to the Scala G4 .

Thanks guys. All good information.

The very first thing I tried was disconnecting from the driver side and jacking in to the passenger connection. When I did, I got sound. I disconnected from the passenger outlet and jacked back into the driver connection. Again no sound. This would appear to take the helmet headset and cord out of the equation.

Then, the next day, without doing anything, sound was back.

I know, makes no sense. Something inside the bike is the only thing that seems logical. What's frustrating is that everything was working well last time. How do you troubleshoot something that is working?
