Custom Dynamics ??

Is anyone else having an issue with orders from Custom Dynamics. Just was wondering because i ordered the RT LED High Mount Brake Light (SPY-RT-HMT) back in November and still waiting to receive it. They keep sending me an e-mail that they are having a coating issue and will be another 8-10 days, but it seems odd that this has been going on for 2 months now and have not got an update since the beginning of January. Called them and they said it would be another 2 weeks. I would think with a supplier with that type of quality issues we be costing them a lot of lost business.

I have ordered a lot of stuff from them without issue. They seem to be communicating well but I understand your frustration!

Ask to talk with Dave. He's the owner. They have changed locations and moved into a larger facility and are training new employees to handle the load. I know that there were coating issues a year or two back and that happens at the manufacturer. They are probably passing the same info to you that they are getting from the HMT supplier. I had one small issue with CD, but it was promptly handled once Dave was made aware of the issue. I'm a life long believer in their quality and customer service. Sometimes it just takes the right person to talk to. I understand your frustration, but I'm sure they'll make it right.

What Kev said is true. I ordered my HMT and had a delay due to them moving. When I asked about it they took care of it when they said they would.

I can understand your frustration. On the flip side be glad they won't sell you an inferior product. They certain LH deserve brownie points in my book............

It was mentioned in a previous thread, that the move may have caused a kink in their otherwise excellent service...
If this is about them making sure that you get a great product; I'd call that a "two-thumbs-up" for them. :2thumbs:

I ordered the same part yesterday, the confirmation stated there is a delay with this item, may be 8-10 days. I hope they get the problem with the supplier worked out, looking forward to installing this.

We changed the UV coating on the lens to improve it and changed the internal gasket to give it a better seal, both of which caused a couple of delays. We shipped about 30-40 units last Friday, we will ship all remaining orders on Monday and Tuesday.
