• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cindi & I got back home last night after a terrific week..It wouldn't have been terrific if BRP hadn't went way out of thier way to help me..On the way to Maggie Valley my coolant tank decided to blow a seal and I flooded the parking lot of one of our stops about 100 miles out of MV with coolant running all over the place...Started the engine and the heat bars didn't go up so I decided to take a chance and run the last leg of the journey...Anyway...Short version of story..Got to MV and parked ole Spydee and more coolant dumped out on the pavement. I went to the BRP tech area at the fairgounds and they looked at the coolant tank...blown seal. The BRP team went way out of the way and over nighted a reinforced coolant tank to the BRP techs and they installed the new tank, filled it up and Spydee was back in perfect running order. Now that's what I call customer service...No charge for the coolant tank or the installation..2nd episode...The boom mike on my Sena headset went south...The wiring on the connector split open and I didn't have the ability to communicate with Cindi on her bike which translated to big problems for me. I asked Lamont if there was a local place for me to get a new boom mike. He told me to wait, went to his office and came back with a brand new boom mike...Talk about salvation...Lamont...you're definitely a professional in my book and I think Spyder ownership would be lacking if we didn't have your support with the forum and your devotion. Somebody was sure looking out for me on this trip....Anyway...Great event put on by BRP...first class in my book. I wish it had been a little bit longer. We left on Sunday morning and took a trip over to Nashville to see my daughter and my Grand Children...one of whom I've never seen and she's almost a year old. Both our Spyder's performed perfectly on the entire trip with the exception of the blown coolant tank but I knew of the failure rate on the 09 GS's..I should have carried a spare with me in my tool box. We put on almost 2,000 miles with this trip...avoided all the nasty weather, met some terrific SpyderLovers and ate a lot of good food....We also had the opportunity to look around the Eastern Tn area and the real estate. We'll be moving either there or Kentucky before September and we're looking forward to future Spyder events
