And here I thought that was a SOUTHERN thing! Must be those Northerners that relocate!:roflblack:Do what they do in the Northeast; forget about the turnsignals!! :joke:
My cruise control cancels when I turn on the turn signal to change lanes.:banghead: Is this common? It's really irritating!
That kind of reminds me of what Casey Stengel (First manager of the NY Mets) said when he was asked when the team might actually start winning some games...Their first year was a TERRIBLE one!Must be those Northerners that relocate!:roflblack:
normally cruise ctrl will auto off if you touch your brake and change gear. your situation is new.
I have not experienced the turn signals interferring with the cruise control. I use my cruise control a lot.
 Never thought of that! Thanks Scotty!...or if your rpm drops too low, or if you pull in (touch) the clutch lever on an SM.
How about increasing the throttle?...or if your rpm drops too low, or if you pull in (touch) the clutch lever on an SM.
Nah.How about increasing the throttle?

Did you install trailer wiring? trailer 3 to 4 wire converter, extra lighting?
I'll bet you will find your answer in one of the above.
Turn signals should not cancel cruise control but a wiring converter will cause this, been there.

Nope. That works just like cruise in your car, letting you increase throttle at will and remain on cruise. How about increasing the throttle?
That happens because the heavy brake pedal jiggles enough to trip the brake light switch. If it happens frequently, teh brake switch may have to be adjusted.
Mine will self cancel if I hit a bump real hard, but never had an issue with activating the turn signals while using the cruise.
:agree: The Spyder senses the relay in the converter as the brake lights coming on.Turn signals should not cancel cruise control but a wiring converter will cause this, been there.
