• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This pretty much tells it all why I wear a helmet ANY TIME I am on 2 or 3 wheels!

Well, that and having a daughter that spent 6 weeks in ICU/Trauma then 3 months in rehab from a cycle crash. The only safety gear she was wearing was her helmet and the paramedics said that was the only reason she was not DRT (Dead Right There).

There comes a time..!!

you have to live it to know the effect. Really glad you found one your happy with. I can tell you this..once you wear it for a season you will feel naked without it. I know I do and I was a die hard no helmet rider...tune them up and let us know..!!

When we go to Florida each year we see people all the time w no helmets. I don't think I could do that...but my wife would in a heartbeat...she hates the helmet.

its for some and not for others.

Ive been known for wearing a helmet while jet skiing! ...but then again, you haven't seen how I jet ski. roflmao

helmet

here's some pictures and a small rave review of the TORC T-27b helmet newest 2014 . 269.99 free shipping !
- it has really good padding and very light weight
- hardly no road noise maybe because I have less then adequate hearing :hun:
- a lot of air flow as you can see very large vent in the back.
- stereo sound thru 2 speakers will blow your ear wax out . :yikes:
- crisp clear comm both ways...absolutely fabulous. :firstplace:

Looks like a very nice choice! Enjoy it.

I liked the close-up of the very first picture. I wonder why they thought it was necessary to put that warning at the top of the shield.
