• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Couple of things about riser install

Babymoose

RT-S PE#639
I did the 1" riser install today. First thing I want to mention is that the 6 bolts that hold the steering cover on require 2 different sockets. The top most 4 use an 8mm socket and the bottom 2 use a 10mm socket. The bottom 2 are hard to see and hard to get at and you cannot see that they are am different size than the other 4. The other thing is that a Harmonic Balancer puller works real well with the stock bar clamp bolts to pull the stock riser off the steering stem. Here is a pic of the puller. The last 2 pics in the Spyda album. It was $17.00 cdn. Hope this helps - if I had known about the different size bolt heads I could have saved a lot of frustration.
