• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Corbin Seat - Lamonster Cut

AutumnCat

GOS member (Girls On Spyders)
I'm interested in getting a Corbin seat for my SE5.
I tried searching the forums using Corbin & Lamonster, but came up with too many results that didn't quite answer my questions.
This is for Lamont & anyone else who might have experience with this seat cut.

My questions are regarding the Corbin Lamonster cut.
1. Lamont - did you get this seat for your RS or RT?
2. Does this cut position you further back from the front of the bike? I sat on a regular Corbin seat & felt like I was a tad too forward.
3. If this is a deeper cut - does this give less padding for the butt and, therefore, less comfort?

If anyone has info or feedback on the Corbin seat & Lamonster cut...please share!

Thanks!!

Can't help about the "LaMonster cut" as we did not opt for that but i have a corbin on my RS and my wife has one on her RT and we both love them!

The first seat I did this cut on was on my RS. It will sit you back some if you use the stock pad. There is less padding but not less comfort.

I did it.

My Corbin seat has the Lamont cut and the wife and I love it. I sit back and a little deeper than the stock one but we both think
it's the best mod we've done so far. I say go for it!
