• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Corbin Saddlebags For ST - Looking For Feedback

Hey guys,

Anyone installed the Corbin Fleetliner Saddlebags for the ST? I have a 2013 STS and I have seen a lot of complaints lately centered around the F3 version and the poor worksmanship/headaches that have ensued. I love the look of these bags and the roomy storage, but the price tag that comes with them is hard to stomach if I can't depend on the product quality. Just want to open it up for feedback from ST owners good or bad

My bags carry more than I ever could in my old '04 Goldwing. All what I had on both Givi bags can easily fit in one Corbin as well as more. I carry a 1.5ltr fuel bottle in each. Nicky carpeted. The right bag is a bit shallower than the left due to the larger muffler the ST comes with.

They are fantastic as well as look good. 2 things though, the bike has to be level or the lid won't stay open, and when I wash the bike the bottom of the latch fills with water. Otherwise they're great. 4 bolts hold them on and the turn signals are separate so you can ride it with them off.

I have them and love them. There are pros and cons.
Pros
Great style and function
Painted to match your color scheme.

Cons
They say 3-6 weeks. It could take double that. I ordered mine mid November. Im Still waiting on the seat and smuggler. Called today and they said they would be sent out today. Still no email saying they were sent. I have heard every excuse in the book.
The paint job matches well but I have found some small bubbles.
The left bag bottom bolt did not line up with the bracket. I had to drill out the hole to get it bolted. Ill have to get a rubber washer on it to keep it from leaking.
they were short on the hardware. I had to just make it work with what I had and still had to buy a few bolts at Lowes.
The directions are poor, you have to read between the lines and just figure out some things on your own.

I know, lots of cons but I still love them.

If you can go to either of their facilities in Florida or California, it would make it easier to get installed free.

After having the Fleetliner/smuggler setup in place for a couple of weeks, It is growing on me as it breaks in. I did have to do a mod to the pad that they put on the smuggler. I took it to an upholstery shop to cut down the padding. It was way too thick and uncomfortable. I also did a mod to the smuggler bracket to move it back about an inch. I really like the smuggler. I can put the little stuff in there that is usually used more, like electronics, gloves, wallet ect..
I feel My posture in the seat is more vertical now but just as comfortable. I found a new position with my legs under me and heals on the passenger foot board. Very nice.
