• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Corbin RS Trunkbox

I had them on both the 08 GS and the 09 RS. Not hard to install. Gave extra room for carrying gear. Chincy lock though. We used them in conjunction with the Givi Saddlebags. I like the Corbins better--but they were twice the cost. Fit, finish, and quality were fine. Shipping to Alaska was ridiculous.

It says that because of my complaint to them. I had the Givi/brp hardbags and added the Corbin topbox. The hardbags mounting rails relocated the turn signals to stalks that rub against the topbox bottom. After my first ride with everything mounted I had big gouges in the topbox.

How did you remedy the situation?

In my case--the turn signals were re-routed when the Givi bags were installed. The Corbin trunk came a few months later and I had no issues with the installation. I did it myself, in spite of my lack of mechanical abilities. I believe I just pulled the arms for the signals down a bit so they would not rub against the trunk. If you go to the 2009--the Alaksa Gallery, you can click on the picture and enlarge it a lot for more detail. Hope this answers the turn signal question.

I tried bending the stalks down for a bit. I then bought the permanent Givi racks for the bags and used the ESI bag lights for my turn signals. All was fixed when I replace the bags and mounts all together with the Corbin sidebags.
