About a week ago I received a pair of Corbin saddlebags to add to my rides already existing Corbin , fender and front fairing. My issue was they didn't match color wise and I don't have the patience or skills to refinish them all myself. So I tore off the parts and found a local classic car restorer to strip and paint the parts.
Picked them up last night and freaking wow! Not only do they now match but they look amazing. Rather than a flat black (which wears bad) to match my phantom or the gloss black that some of the parts already were I went with a hot rod matte black. The painter said the paint was incredibly difficult to work with and lay down but the end result is stellar. The finish looks like it is high density rubber with only a mild tint of gloss to it making it look like it was just wiped down. I'll get some pics after I get everything mounted on the spyder and will post some details on the paint used.
