• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

i just sent a e mail to BRP at [email protected] about the heat problem on the right side and why it takes so long to get parts, i think all of us should e mail them at [email protected] to tell them about our heat issues and ask what they are planing to do about it, the more mail they get the more they might pay attention to the problem. so write them and let them know.

ask for a case file to be opened and work with BRP and dealer....and yes the more the 2013 owners contact BRP...the more that will get done to improve our machines....I want to ride......

I agree with FB about opening a case file. I'd also be very specific about what kind of problem you are having. They are unlikely to respond to the difficulties for which they have issued the recall unless the same problems persist after the recal has been completed. Heat on the right foot is pretty normal and common, and that may also not warrant a claim, but it never hurts to state your problem. That problem was also dealt with in the redesign of the RT, so that model will likely not be further addressed. Overheating of the RT would fall into the same niche, but overheating of the cooling system is neither normal or common, so your dealer should be able to address it. As to boiling gas, heat on the seat or side panels, fried spark plugs, and all similar complaints, they are certainly worth pointing out to BRP and keeping them on the radar screen.

BTW, CuznJohn, you will likely get more views and attention for your posts if you put them in the appropriate forum, rather than "Other Tpics" for everything. A general Spyder post should go under "Spyder General Discussion", posts specifically on the RT under "Spyder RT - Touring", etc. Posts in the wrong cubbyhole are often missed or skipped.
