• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Considering the unthinkable...A Windshield

So after running over to Daytona and back this weekend on I-4 and considering I've got a late summer trip to Ohio planned I'm seriously considering buying a windshield.

My question is who likes what and why do you like them. I'm 5'9" and have a 1" BRP riser on the Spyder. I'm looking for something that won't cause a lot of buffeting. :dontknow:

After traveling on the interstate the other day in the rain, I also can see the need for a somewhat larger windshield. Any 6'3"ers out there who are happy with their 'touring' windshields?

I'm 5'10" got the large cal sci windshield and added laminar lip. I'm very happy riding interstate with it.

My husband is 6'3" with a short inseam and a tall torso and we have the tall EVO III windshield and it works for him. I am 5'4" and of course it works well for me too.

Ruh, roh. Let me see, now...:yikes:

I have a medium CalSci and a LARGE C.H.A.D. CHAD is for winter, CalSci is for the other three seasons.

NMN sells both, BTW.

I followed you at 70/80 for most of the trip from Daytona, and I didn't have any buffeting.. Nice pocket to ride in..
Shield wiggled a little but it has done that before and It doesn't bother me..
