• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Considering 2014 used RT Limited - please help

Big Thank you

Thank you so much for all your input. It's very helpful. We`ve been also considering a new bike on a 0% Finance deal they're offering now, but there isn't much left in new 2015. I guess we have to go and make our decision now...

You might want to have Shawn Smoake at Pro Caliber look at it. He is recognized as one of the best Spyder mechanics in that area.

I would recommend doing some serious research on that particular :spyder2:. Bought it from a college kid just don't seem right. Don't see many of them with $30K to spend on toys.

Have a dealer run the VIN and you can get the actual mechanical history.

Was going to tag you for going for the $195K price, but Mike beat me to it. 19.5K seems in the ballpark.

I have a 2014 RT-S and so far have 23K trouble free miles on it. If you get a good one, you will like it a lot.

Let us know what you do.
"IMHO I would seriously look into the :spyder2: 6K seems to me a little low for having two owners. It could be a great Scoot, just be careful"

Sellers refused to get it looked at

Update: I asked the sellers if they would be OK with a dealer looking at the bike prior to purchasing, and they refused, saying that they are in the middle of a move and don't want to bother with it, and that "there is NOTHING wrong with the bike, it's basically brand new". I guess we have to walk......

That's another red flag. Run Forrest Run! No joke.

Based on the two red flags:

"I bought it used from a college kid"

"I am in the middle of a move and you don't need to take it to a dealer because there is nothing wrong with it"

It seems apparent to me, that this particular unit has a bit of a history. Someone who does not do due diligence is probably going to get burned.

My apologies to the seller if I am wrong. Tells us why, and I will gladly delete the negative posts.
