• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Consensus on highway pegs

I have been trying to follow the various threads regarding comfortable highway pegs...and I'm not having much luck doing so...there appear to be a few good peg products, but I'm not sure if I'm seeing the same ones over and over again or if there really are some choices.

For those of you who have installed, can you list what you have, some pics, and the durability (how much weight you can put on them).

I'm looking for a highway peg that can take weight without breaking, is easy to install, and looks good on the bike...of course, it has to make for a more comfortable leg position while on the bike.

Thanks in advance for everyone's help...

I bought the brackets that NMN sells off of tatt2r second hand. They were easy to install, following Lamonster's instruction thread.Tatt2r left his Kury extensions and wings on the brackets:clap: and once I adjusted them for how I wanted my leg position to be they work great.

It's true that you're not going to be standing on these pegs, but after you've used them for a little while you get used to that. I've never had to put any pressure on any type of pegs I've used.

Whats really nice is that there is no vibration coming through the brackets at all.

Yeah, and the guys at me dealer loved them also. They hadn't seen the brackets before and said the seating position of the Spyder had been a deal breaker for them before with some customers.

I'm thinking NMN gonna be getting some orders from my dealer before long.:2thumbs:
