There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Good work. Being in the precast concrete industry, I have seen some of the best finishers in the business. Those guys are pretty good. I am the guy who, would draw things up. Although I do look at the finishes, I tend to notice how the pieces actually fit. We do everything from small accent bands and ornamental pieces on buildings. On up to large precast panels on 18-20 story buildings. Although I like the pay day on the larger projects, they create more of a headache. I enjoy the simple things that show off the skill of the designer (myself), erector, and finisher. If it all fits together nicely, and the finishes are nice, then I am happy.
Here is an example of a nice little clock tower that I did years ago in Newport News Virginia. I also did some of the buildings behind it, but the tower was a lot more fun to draw.
