• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How about a link or some directions to your findings please. Waiting with baited breath. It's my understanding that a stock 1330motor will only open the throttle plates 85%. ECU flashes change that among other things. Pedal commanders only OPEN the throttle quicker. Not at all sure about Dyno Jet...

Yes, that's the number in Canada for the ECU Flash stage 1 or 2. There's another number for their US location where I sent mine for a flash.

You have to remove your ECU and send it to them. It's a week turn around time.

Duzz'n matta! ;) They'll still be able to tell you exactly what the differences between a Power Commander 5 and the Monster ECU Stage 1 &/or Stage 2 Upgrades will be, and give you an idea of the performance gains possible from each will be too!! :ohyea:

But at it's most basic, anything that doesn't require the ECU to be sent away & opened in order to appĺy the new tune info could possibly be over-written, and also isn't likely to be 'as comprehensive' of an upgrade.... :rolleyes:

In other words, if you want the best, you'll need to pay for it and get it done properly! :thumbup:

MAX throttle body opening percentage ???

Earlier in this thread I said the stock 1330 ECU can only open the throttle(s) to about 85%. BUT, I wish someone who REALLY knows the Max. throttle would chime in.........

Well that was 30+minutes I'll never get back,. I did listen carefully and Martin may have answered many ?'s BUT not mine.

So, again:

Can a knowledgeable person tell us:

1. What percentage does the stock ECU open the 1330 motor throttle body (s) ???

2. Does the stage 1 ( or stage2 ) open the throttle body to 100% ???
