There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Noobie question for those of you with more experience...

Can any of you please confirm for me that the Comfort Seat, Sport Rack and Back Rest can be used together without conflict?

Thanks,

Tim

No problem thier all made to work togther

Thank you very much. I had hoped that would be the case since they are all BRP produced accessories but I wanted to be sure. I thought I had read about a conflict of some kind but it may have been with another seat manufacturer.

I appreciate the help,

Tim

I have the same combination on my bike, but if you look into the price of all those combined I think your better off with a corbin seat with the back rests.

The BPR comfort seat is 10 times better than the Corbin, the Corbin is not designed to ride two up. Corbin even states in their advertisement that its not for passenger comfort. I'm on my third seat, the Corbin I got sold it on ebay for 300 after paying over 700 for it. Sold it just to get some of my money back, but felt bad about passing it on to another sucker like me, I got toke about all the hype about Corbin seats. But the comfort seat on and have never looked back. I do know if you watch ebay or this site you will always see Corbin seats for sell, that said I have never seen a Russell for sell on ebay or here. So if I do decide to replace my BPR comfort seat it will be with a Russell day long seat. Just my 2cents.:ohyea:

:2thumbs: I have the corbin seat and ride two up most of the time and the wife loves it.Corbin seat nice and wide for the wives little bottom.

I am considering a comfort seat and was wondering how much better it was than stock, I had a Corbin before on a Harley and found it far too rigid for me, i think they are only good if they are made to measure. Any feedback on the comfort seat ?

We replaced the stock seat, with the comfort seat, the day we picked up our Spyder. We had sat on the std. seat and knew it wasn't for us. The comfort seat is wonderful and we have it paired with the sport rack and backrest.:2thumbs:

Used the stock seat for awhile, but my rear didn't get along with it. Put the comfort seat on and it was a HUGE improvement. When looking at the prices of the Corbin's, Russells, etc., and having sat on them all, none were worth the big difference over the comfort seat.

Comfort seat is great...price is right for an awesome seat!

We ordered a Corbin for my wife's machine and hated it. It was a nice piece but it changed the riding position drastically moving you up and forward. I would go with the BRP system. Definately sit on a Corbin before you invest in one.

another thing to consider is that there are a lot of threads here about the poor corbin customer service...I'm just sayin'...

We have the comfort seat, backrest combo of BRP's and love it. The difference between it and the stock seat is the width, it supports your butt much better, and there isn't that little peak down the middle of the backseat. For long trips we add airhawk cushions...the combination of the two is great...and we've put in some 500+ mile days. --Paula

I have the original seat and bought a BRP backrest for it. If I buy a custom seat,Will need to by a new backrest? At $450 I am wondering is there an adaptor to convert the backrest from original seat to a custom seat?

How can I expect people to answer my question if I don't give the proper facts. I am asking about the comfort seat NOT a Custom seat. Sorry!
