• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hopped on my Spyder today and check engine was flashing. I pulled a code, which was P0127. Does anybody know what this means? The temperature was reading 127 when I got on the bike. It was hot today, but not that hot!!

Thanks,
Pikester

P0127 - Intake Air Temperature Too High

Possible causes
- Intake air temperature sensor harness is open or shorted
- Intake air temperature sensor electrical circuit poor connection
- Faulty Intake air temperature sensor

You are right. I went out a little while ago and it was back to normal. Could the 129 degree temp have triggered that code?

Yep, That's the way it works, A lot of heat gets trapped under that plastic, Especially with the extreme hot weather out your way lately.

Would it help to get rid of some of the heat if I remove the drip pan that Lamont removed to make his oil changes easier?
