• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Clutch Switch Question

Think I figured out why my clutch switch isn't working. It was never plugged in. The wiring harness is just hanging loose. Cannot find an obvious place to plug it in. The closest I can find has a dummy connector plugged in to it. I don't want to plug things in the wrong place.

Anyone know where the Clutch switch wiring harness plugs in to the bike? I know it is near the right front of engine compartment. Kind of behind or to the side of the coolant overflow tank.

Loose clutch switch connector. Has a brown and blue wire inside. Same colors that come out of the clutch switch on the handle bar. Harness goes through handle bars, then is routed over to the right front of the engine compartment.

Coincidentally...

When my ST was delivered the clutch switch and harness wasn't even installed. It had been left off at the factory. The switch and how it's routed isn't in the parts fiche as far as I saw. Your local dealer might have to call the factory to get the info for you.
