• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Chrome accessories for the RT

I plan on replacing some parts on my RT Limited with the chrome versions. Most of the items don't look to difficult to install but the Handle Bar Cover looks to be a more involved process. Can someone tell me that has done the installs themselves if the parts come with detailed installation instructions?

The foot peg support is the most challenging of all the chrome that I have installed ! The handle bar cover is the next, especially if you have the GPS as you have to rerun the wires back to the rear! If you follow the instructions that come with the cover you should do OK. Allow 3-4 hours as a lot of stuff comes off and of course a lot of stuff goes back on . Looks great with Lamont's IPS key mod .

If you are replacing the painted OEM GPS bracket withe the chrome one, I may take your old painted one off your hands.
Just a small service I offer (smile)
Please let me know,

I though about getting the chrome GPS mount but to me you are hard pressed to see the mount when the zummo is in it .:dontknow:

I haven't been able to find just the chrome casting for the GPS mount. You evidently have to buy the kit with cable harness. Can't justify the cost for something you can't see very well anyway even with just the GPS connector cover.
