• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Choosing OEM or other Tires

I have a 2010 RS. Does anyone know if you have to use factory OEM tires. I need to replace my rear tire and I was curious. Car tires seem a lot cheaper & probably last longer....Feedback please!!
Also, can normal tire places change a Spyder tire?

If you check on past post, some of our :spyder2:members have replaced them with car tires. I was told also that I can do the same.

My dealer will be installing my new rear tire early next week. Decided on a 205/55-R15 Nitto NT450 performance car tire. Replacing my OEM tire w/ ~11,500 miles on it before my 1000 mile trip to Spyderfest.

choices, choices..!!

You don't have to keep with the OEM. They were designed for motorcycles but many auto tires work well. Just have to watch the tire pressure due to the weight difference....good luck..!!

I bought a set(3) of OEM tires over a year ago for my 2011 RS-S. I found a place that they were selling off there Spyder invertory. Got my tires for $220.00 that included shipping. If you surf the web you can make good deals on parts and accessories.
