• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

check out this bag setup

I like his trailer idea but I see no reason for a single wheel unit behind a Spyder. He has some real money invested in that rig with that type of bag but it looks very useful for his type of adventure riding.

:2thumbs: It looks pretty interesting!
:agree: Would like to see done with the givi trecker seires or some military ammo box type (redneck) with a proper trailer ball mount so could pull behind spyder or the truck. The shock system looked smooth enough, could mount a seat & another passanger:thumbup: maybe rodster renovations will spyderize for us??:coffee:PLZ

I think he is able to use this one wheel configuration due to the 2 wheeled bike being able to lean in the curves. Since our Spyders don't you would have to have a non-swivel ball setup to keep the trailer upright. And the problem with that is that any centrifugal force from the uni-trailer will be directly transferred to the hitch and consequently to the rear axle and bearings. The heavier the trailer was loaded the more top heavy it would become and probably would make for some crazy handling conditions in the twisties. I think that in extreme cases you could have inner wheel lift so bad the bike could be easily flipped.
I may be wrong about this, but it looks like it would not work well for the Spyder with it's single rear wheel. Just not stable enough......

Wow, That was impressive. I like the modular design. The single wheel design is perfect for the adventure 2 wheel bikes that have to go through narrow environments; it keeps the weight off the bike for those that load everything on the bike because they have no trailer.

I think the stability of the trailer is good and wouldn't pose an issue for the spyder - but this isn't the right trailer for the spyder [rider]. I believe the factory offering is hard to beat.

Thanks for sharing.

Very cool..!!

but I do have my reservations on the whole hitch and balance as well as the torque on the hitch...:dontknow: does the 622 have a cool kick stand like that..??:roflblack:
