• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

E-KYLIN DC 12v Step up to 24v Converter.
Alex Tech Wire Loom.

I didn’t want an amp taking up room in my frunk, so I used a pair of mono amplifiers mounted to the speakers inside the speaker pods. 2 x 60W at 24V using the DC converter. Class D amplifiers are very efficient. I’m getting 105+ dBA at listening position, fine at highway speeds. The wire loom matches Ryker OEM.

Compare cost and performance with the Can Am 50W system at $739.99 or the SSV Works 2 x 50W system at $549.99.

Speakers $58.98
Pods $89.95
NVX $59.99
NVX mount $19.99
Amplifiers $17.80
Wire loom $7.99
DC converter $16.79
Total $271.49

Tidy ... we should have a sound system sticky for whatever options folk have come up with. Working on an easy to use water resistant compact system here - hard part is finding something with a USB socket for a thumb drive (my go to music source is a thumb drive for MP3) and FM would be nice for hacking around town here. I'd post up what I've found but don't wish to hijack yer thread, eh. Less than a couple hundred US anyway.
