• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Be sure to catch the December Cycle World review of a Spyder ryde. One more two wheel rider in love with the Spyder!

Best description of the Spyder by a motorcycle magazine review; "This thing is a hoot!" Two questions that the review raises: He says the SE5 has a tethered gas cap. Is that something new to all models or just unique to the SE5? Claims to have gottem 53 mpg on a ride. Not sure if that is possible. Best I ever got was 36 mpg.

The author stated that he mostly got mid-thirties for mpg, and seemed to question the one tank on a flat, slow road at 53 mpg. I suspect either a calculation error they didn't catch, or that they just filled that tank until the automaic shutoff clicked, and it really wasn't full. Shows the folly of calculating each time, instead of doing a longer term average.
