Charity Ride to Benefit Breast Cancer

As some of you may know I work at the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Research Center. A women's riders group "Dixie Divas" helps support breast cancer research each year with a fund raiser charity ride called "Revvin 4 Research. This will be my first to attend, as this is my first year to have a bike/trike. I work next door to the organizer and just in talking with her, it sounds like a blast. Take a minute and check out their website at revvin4research.com. This year the event will be on 10/08/11 at the HD dealership in Pelham, Al. There will be door prizes and a best pink'd out bike, most pink'd out person prize. There will also be an after-party at the Texas Roadhouse in Pelham.

Would really love to participate! But.....I'll be in Kentucky for my high school class reunion (not telling which one). Sure do hope I can participate next year. Breast Cancer Research is a good cause.
