Charity Bike Run Panama City Beach Fl July 24th

There is going to be a Charity Bike Show and Run in Panama City Beach, FL scheduled for the 24th of July.

A couple of the Gulf Coast SpyderRyders are planning on attending for the day. Would be great if any spyder ryders close by could make it.

Sent you a PM about my latest DPS problem and I may have it back from the dealer but, I'm not counting on it. Hopefully I do get it back and can join you like we planned, when I told you about this charity run.

After dropping it off, the service manager was looking for a new DPS unit on the computer. He mentioned rebuilt units and I asked, how can they rebuild a DPS motor if they don't know what causing the problem? Of course maybe they do know and I missed the posting but, he didn't have an answer for me. So told him to put in the newest one available. I'm sick of hearing about DPS problems and especially when it me having them.:yikes:

I'll let you know as the date gets closer if I will be ryding. I may have to meet you in my pickup, my bicycle has a flat tire.

Looking forward to the ryde and meeting PCbeachbum. I just need to get those "Y" gaskets changed. I picked them up yesterday on my way to work. Now if I can just schedule the time to do it while working these 12 hr night shifts, but I definitely want to get them changed before a long hot day on the Emerald Coast.

Looking forward to meeting you, Bill and all other's if coming on the 24th and hopefully I'll be on 3 wheels instead of 4.

Just replaced the "Y" gaskets on mine. I was getting a heavy gas fume smell and found the "Y" gaskets to be in good shape but, replaced them with new Honda "Y" gaskets. Found the problem to the gas fume problem to be the front plug. I was feeling good about the repairs til I found out about the DPS problem and hopefully that will be taken care of before the 24th. See you all than.
