• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Changing rear brake pads on a 15 S T limited

Had to remove the rear caliper to take it in to the dealer to get the cylinder retracted as I could not spin the cylinder with the tools I have. To do so, I disconnected the brake line so i no doubt have plenty of air in that line right now. Anything special I should know after reinstalling the caliper and then pumping through new brake fluid? Something tells me that disconnecting that brake fluid line is going to be problematic in refilling.

Just left Flatout Motorsports in Indianapolis, a certified Can-Am dealer. They said they were unaware of any special tool necessary to retract the rear brake cylinder with in the caliper. They suggested using a C-clamp to pressure it back in. From my research, that is not the right answer. Any suggestions?

Trick

Here is one way:
put a rag on the caliper. Rotate caliper to press on the bottom of the muffler. Use needle nose pliers, push hard while turning clockwise. Helps to have a helper. Piston will retract. Push hard! I have never had one beat us!
