• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I thought I would share as I am a proud son of an amazing father.

One of the last of the "Great Generation".
WWII Vet. Marine 1st Medical Battalion, Big Red One, Kazarine Pass.
Re-enlisted in the Navy after first purple heart.
Bronze Star, 2 purple hearts.

I say so long to a man that gave us so much freedom!, and gave me everything I have and know!

They don't make men like this anymore!

I am honored to have a Father like this man. I will see him later........

You sir are a worthy son.

Thank you. I try to know and understand the sacrifices that gave all of us what we have today.
My Dad did his best to not make an idiot! While I have not served myself, understand that I know what was placed before me and I give thanks to all that allowed me to have the life I live today!

Freedom was not free!

I lost my uncle (whom I hold the middle name of) on the beaches of D-Day. Lewis was my Dad's best brother and the loss was hard.

It is a shame to me when I see people take what they have today for granted forgetting all that was given to allow them to be free.

A fitting sendoff for such a man. It was good to hear the laughter during the ceremony. May I add...

The tide recedes but leaves behind beautiful seashells
on the sand
The sun goes down but gentle warmth still lingers
on the land
The music stops, yet it echoes on
in sweet refrain...
For every joy that passes, something beautiful remains.
