• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

CD's Radiator inlet grill

Anyone have one of these grills? I just got one and the "black powder coating" is lousy! Luckily I plant to paint it so it's more visible in the red side cover.

Confused..!!

title says radiator cover..is the air exit on the right side by your right foot..?? That is a nice grille but your right about the coating. Pictures when you get it done..!! :ohyea:

Grilles

I've just ordered a complete set of 3D stainless steel grilles from Spyderpops to fit the same panels that I intend to paint black, hope they are better than that.
I may even go the the expense of getting them powder coated, depends what they look like once I see them.
Anybody painted stainless steel themselves before ?

Painted it first with etching primer, then a few coats of white. The a bit of red and an few strokes of 1-shot pinstripe paint to add a bit of flare.

Now to cut off most of the tabs so it will fit in with the black shroud. Couldn't get the black shroud back in place with the flames added.
