Finally rode with a friend who also has a CB. Mine continues to transmit for 6 or 7 seconds after releasing the PTT button. The switch seems to operating normally. In fact, that whole RECC pod was replaced to correct a turn signal issue, but I don't know if the PTT was included. Also, most of the time when turning on the CB, the squelch with either jump to maximum or to minimum and won't let me change the setting. It'll take several "off and ons" before I can adjust the squelch. Suggestions are welcome.
