• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

correct the cb is a poor poor quality not like a truckers cb as I,am a trucker also and has only once in 6 months got a response for just even a radio check but this is BRP product so don't be surprised if they come out with a recall thanks Rich

I installed it my self, it was easy but takes time. The problem is the antenna and ground block, l replaced mine with the kit from JCV and I get good range now.

Mine works fine. Of course I understand that -unlike a truck- it has almost zero ground plane, has a AM/FM antenna inches away that knocks down some of its signal strength too. In the Grand scheme of things it does what it was designed to do, communicate within the group you're riding with. If you live in California and want to talk skip to say...Florida. You WILL BE disappointed.

We have the BRP CB on our 2012 RTS which my wife is now riding. I'm now riding a 2013 Harley Tri Glide which has the Harley CB. Our communication between the two bikes is clear and strong.

On the other hand, GPS VOLUME on the Spyder is not strong and is a pain to adjust. I'm very unhappy with that part of the set-up.
