CB PTT Release Delay

Talked to my dealer Friday when picking my RT up for the 6k service ($262.62). He was telling me about a document that BRP had sent out that described the changes from the 2010 to the 2011 RT. It said that they had corrected the '5 second delay' to a '1 second delay'. We both interrupted it as a programming problem from what he read to me.

They offered no fix for the 2010 issue.

spoke with Carlo at Spyderfest and again just last week on something else and he reiterated that they are indeed working on a fix for the 2010 models and it has been escalated to the division manager for the Spyders.

so hoping the fix comes soon ray:

they are definitely aware of the issue. looks like just figuring out the fix without breaking any of the existing code would be my guess ...

tapping quickly after transmission does not always unstick the TX. if you have a 2010 model with CB it does not happen every time, it is sporadic

Can not understand why the issue is just now being escalated to the division manager. It's been a known issue for almost one year:dontknow:
