bajaron had mentioned previously that the Q2 with orange emblem had problems. I have the orange emblem Q2 and after 2 good riding seasons the Q2 developed a problem. It would take about a 1/2 before I could communicate with the passenger.

If anyone else is having a similar problem, this is what I did: I rubbed an eraser on the contacts to clean them. I did both rider and passenger set and now they have been working without problem for a few weeks. Of course now that I mention it they will probably stop working.

Perhaps, did you do the last software update? After I updated the pair we have, it is not as quick to respond as it was before the update. I m thinking of re-installing the previous version of the software, if it is indeed possible.

I wasn't aware of the Q2 having software updates. I know the G4 is software updatable.
