Cardo FreeCom 1+ using Voice Commands with OK Google

I recently purchased a Freecom 1+ (it is just me) and I am trying to get the voice command (OK Google) working with my Android phone. I have tried the right button combinations and have been in contact with Cardo but they haven't been able to solve it. I thought I could just push the front and rear buttons together, say "OK Google" and start giving commands but it doesn't seem to open a channel to the phone to activate OK Google. Anyone have any luck with this?:dontknow:

I connect just by pushing the rear button only and then OK GOOGLE works fine.
