• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does anyone have issues with exhaust getting into the airflow bubble of your spyder after adding aftermarket wind protection?

Interesting. ...

Never sniffed it out but if you do you most likely have an exhaust leak...:dontknow:

I had to extend the exhaust by installing Pit Bulls one piece system and I worked with F-4 Customs when he first designed one for the F3. My wife's windshield is the result design change. Her's eliminated the problem.

I have an '08GS & suffered from it very badly. I could still smell the exhaust in my nose for hours after stopping riding.

It started when I installed the OEM 25" touring screen together with the wind deflectors that came with it.

Have removed the wind deflectors & all is well again.

Happens often with some aftermarket wind deflectors and wind screens. It messes up the desired airflow pattern from the factory and creates backflow which is causing the exhaust smell. Even BRP screws it up sometimes - their OEM wind deflector on the RS combined with a touring screen did that on ours. Usually you either ditch the accessory or engineer some venting or spacers to alleviate the problem. Do your research before buying.
