Car tire on the Spyder

Hello All:
I'm posting this question in the Florida portion of the forum because we spend the winter in Zephyrhills and I suspect I'll need at least a rear tire before spring.
After lots of reading and searching the forums I'm ready to give up on the Kenda due to wear.

So my question is::: Has anyone gone to car tires and if so, where do you get them installed because Spyder dealers where I live in Canada won't sell you anything but Kenda.

You'll have a better chance of getting a car tire(s) installed in FL. Hopefully someone on the forum will chime in about Spyder dealers in your area. Kenda only dealers are not just just specific to Canada. All dealers within 100 miles of me are that way. My options are:
1. Use a local bike shop, or
2. drive 130 miles to a Can-Am dealer
to have my rear Kenda changed at the end of the season.

Remove your rear wheel yourself (you tube is your friend) take it to your favorite local tire store with your replacement tire and have him mount it and balance with dyna beads.

Thanks. Funny but when I was google searching for dealers near Zephyrhills, I checked our Central Florida Powersports. After reading Kenny Butlers bio I thought he would be a good one to approach about this subject.
