• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can't re-install left footpeg

Does anyone have information on how to re-attached the 2021 Ryker Rally driver left footpeg? I can get the screw in, but when I try and push the footpeg down, it will not go down.

I had removed the left footpeg to install a set of floorboards. I have installed the floorboards on the right side without any problem. Zero issues, easy install.

So I remove the left footpeg, but could not get the replacement hardware to work. After assembling the hardware, it would not go down. Then I tried putting the stock footpeg back on, but it would not go down.

Has anyone removed their left footpeg and reinstalled it?

When I removed the left footpeg, is it possible something in the assembly that the footpeg attaches to come loose or out of alignment, thus preventing it from being reassembled?

Great appreciate any assistance, thank you,

Karl

I took the pegs off and installed Commander floorboards on my wife's Ryker. On the left side, it was a PITA getting the peg or board to lock into place, even though I knew I did everything correctly.

I would take it apart, follow the instructions from wherever you got the floorboards, and try again. Use a little more downward pressure when attempting to lock the peg/florboard in place.

Good luck!

Solution

I took the pegs off and installed Commander floorboards on my wife's Ryker...

After speaking with support, I was able to get the stock footpeg installed. I did the 530 ride to Lamonster on Monday. They removed the assembly that the footpegs attach to. They reassembled it and installed my floorboards.

The lesson I learned is, on the Ryker, if you remove the footpeg it may not go back together if something comes out of alignment.

That is great to hear!

I will be putting the exact same setup on my Wife's Ryker tomorrow.
