over-filled frunk, or the cable could have come off the base of the ignition switch ….. the second one is almost as easy to fix as the first …… Mike hyea:

Try pushing down on top center (where latch post is)of frunk lid as you turn key:thumbup: hopefully simply overfilled or something hanging over the seal lip, causing the lid to sit lil tighter than normal

Hello, I had this happen to me as well. The problem turned out to be the cable itself. It had stretched enough so that it would not disengage the latch. I had to manually push the latch under the frunk lid with a flexible plastic rod.
