• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

canisterectomy fuel filter

I just wanted to let everyone know I found a fuel filter that fits perfect if you want to keep the factory size hose. It is a duralast ff1203DL and cost 2.99 cents. really small and fits perfect. Again this is for the factory size hose if you do not wish to upgrade to 5/16. I have included a couple pics. By the way i have not hooked up the rest of the hose in the second picture.

Not to send things completely sideways, but 5th Gens ROCK! headbang.gif

I ordered mine in June of 2009 and got it on Oct 22nd and have loved every minute of it! It's a 2SS/RS A6 with Factory Rallies and I have modded the sh1t out of it along the way! It runs 10.88's in the 1/4.

my guess is there should be no fuel going through it since it is only for the vent. If it starts pumping fuel out of it I believe i got more problems than what i currently already have.

I must have missed something in the translation. I thought you were replacing your fuel filter during your canister-ectomy project. But you're adding this to your fuel tank vent hose extension. I used a clear filter so I could see if there was any accumulation of fuel getting to that point.

No problem, I thought about a clear filter but i was worried about it posssibly breaking, thats why i went with a steel one.

its a plug right now to keeps bugs or anything from crawling it. I'm just not going to hook up the other hose until i get it mostly back together. This way I dont have to move it again if it gets in the way.

And by the way hypurone, i really do like the SS, has not given me a bit of problems, has just the right amount of rumble to it, and when you get on it, it will almost throw you into the back seat.

the filter goes to the vent. I unhooked it from the canister and plugged the purge valve. It has nothing to do with the fuel filter for the spyder. The spyder though has just under 17k miles

here is the video:

question

Looking the diagram from BRP it seems as easy as connect the hose 26 from the fuel tak to the hose 25. This goes from the canister to the protective plastic sheet under the radiator, the air filter between 25 and 26 and screw plus tape and flange on 22.
