• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

George, I have 2 folding canes and they are both adjustable for height. Bought one online and the other at Walgreens. Use them for the bike and car.

I have a folding cane. It goes in frunk, trunk, or saddlebags.

Same here. Folding cane that's adjusted to my desired height folds & goes in the frunk, trunk, or panniers; and if I want to change the height once I'm using it, it's just a matter of turning the locking bezel so the height is not locked & then pressing the spring loaded button before adjusting to the new desired height & locking it in place once again!

Nicely done

Know there are those not happy with the collapsible canes. That's a nice solution. I also have a collapsible one in the frunk but only for those rare moments...

I have a couple of folding canes and I used to carry one in the trunk, but I unfortunately am at the upper weight limit :( for these canes and never fully trusted them, even though I know they are probably tested beyond their weight limit. So this one is a one piece 1" diameter Beechwood shaft that is rated at 500 lbs and cut to my required length. Plus the handle is a little oversize and fits my hand better.

Yes, My kids turned out alright in spite of me.:D

It just goes to show that different folks need different solutions for a similar problem. It's good to share these things. Thanks

I am using a folding cane and works well for me. On my ST, I had a custom pouch made that fit behind the left saddle bag. It worked great. Now that I have the F3 the cane goes in the the top case.

Since I'm "Back on the stick" for the foreseeable future: I'm gonna have to see if I can rig up something like that as well.
