• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Changed out the Kuhmo rear tire today on my '08 GS. Took the new tire and rim to the local tire shop, and they removed the old tire, installed the new. Cost $4.00 :yikes:
That's what they charged me four years ago when I replaced the OEM tire. I didn't think anybody would even pick up a wrench these days for less than $15 or $20.
Anyway, all went well. Reinstalling the break caliper was the only slow down.

When you find a good tire place, it often pays to stick with them!!

What sort of performance & life didja get out of the old tire??!

Did you replace it with the same again?

Good to hear..!!

My tire shop didn't charge me at all...I have a suspision they don't want a paper trail. :dontknow: I have four cars (family members) I take there so they could have done it for that reason but believe the latter...:lecturef_smilie:

OEM tire lasted 13,000......This Kuhmo got me 20,000, but had at least 2,000 more miles left on it, but decided to change it out now, before I head south for the winter. Replaced with another Kuhmo.
