• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I chose this location and mount based upon input from littlebadwolf who has a very similar config.

There are plenty of ways to mount a camera. Something to consider is how you are going to operate the camera. If you have a remote controller for the camera, just about any place the camera will mount and not get destroyed is fine. Great shots are possible from unusual perspectives. The link below will take you to my post of the Spring Dash at Daytona on St. Patricks Day. My cameras were mounted on the handle bars. I was able to start and stop them without any problem. The only way to know if you have a good mounting position is to shot some video and watch it. You have to like what you see.

:agree: Here's my video from my last ride with the SRA-San Diego riders. i had my GoPro mounted witht he suction cup on about 6" behind the trunk on the top piece of plastic (the one you mount your tank bag to). I had no major issues, but still looking to minimize the vibration.

Mount position and hardware look familiar....:).....As stated above, the only way to perfect it is to put it to work and adjust accordingly...My Drift has a rotating lens and remote control and serves me well...I'm having a ball with the video...I need to get used to the software program I bought to edit the videos, add music and voice to the presentation and all the other fancy stuff to play with...
