There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So, rather than act upon reports of illicit gun trade, they commissioned an independent study. As a result of that study, it was determined that such reports are vastly inflated or just plain inaccurate. Therefore, the closed their inquiry. Where is the shame in that? Much better than acting on public opinion or hysteria don't you think?

One of the commenters on that article on Fox said something to the effect that all "liberal" studies are just lies. If so, I pointed out, then the results of the "liberal" gun study must be lies. Therefore, even though the gun study pretended to show compliance with gun laws, since that was just a liberal lie, actually it showed that gun laws were NOT being complied with. I don't even care about what the study showed, the lack of logic is just jawdropping.
I've never quite figured out what makes something "liberal" on Fox. One commenter the other day actually referred to the engineer who crashed the Amtrak train recently as a "liberal." Really? It seems to me that "liberal" simply means whatever Fox viewers don't like. And if one nutty liberal says something, that means ALL liberals MUST agree with it. I'm in big trouble now. I lost my membership card in Antifa and BLM, I dared to disagree with the two professors who claimed that farmers markets are racist, I own guns and I retired from the military! Man, this is baaad. Not only are they're going to throw me out of the liberal union but the folks at Fox will never accept me because I voted against Trump (which, to Fox commenters, is completely impossible ... the only possible explanation for my vote is that I must love Hillary -- there's no respect for what I simply thought was the lesser of two evils). In fairness, according to my son, the exact reverse is happening on liberal-based websites. Between the stereotyping, intolerance, illogic and lack of reading comprehension, we are so screwed in this country.

Well, seeing it was the " liberals" that started the study, and the "liberals" who pulled the plug, you would have thought the "liberals" would have been happy to share their results. Nope, the results were not what the "liberals" we're hoping for, so they said nothing.
