There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Built some floor boards for my wife's RS

Well, my wife wanted floor boards for her bike but after looking around and the prices ranging from $400-$1000. I decided to construct a set of my own. These ended up costing me about $50 nojoke to make and have a steel frame made out of 1"x1"x.100 square tubing and the plates are made from 3/16" aluminum. I purchased it all from a local metal supplier. My wife's Spyder already had some aftermarket highway pegs installed so I just bolted the front of the floor board bracket to them by using a piece of 1-1/4" angle iron and painted everything with textured Tremclad paint. For the plates, I used a couple of pieces of 1/4" plywood as a template and made sure that I had the shape I wanted. Here you can get as fancy as you want but it takes more time to shape. I used the template on the aluminum as a guide when I borrowed a friends plasma cutter to cut the shapes. You can also use a jig saw but I had access to a plasma cutter so I took advantage of it. I then used an aluminum grinding disc in my hand held grinder to shape the final shape. They turned out pretty good and the main thing is she loves them.:yes:

Great job.
I custom made some for my former RT. The third version was perfect for me and I wish I had them on my current ride.

It is cool when you build something for yourself that looks good and works well.

Kudos.
