• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

bug screen

My water pump had a leak so was getting replaced. I noticed that after the tech had taken the nose off the bike that there were a lot of bugs in the radiators. I thought that unusual because I only have 3300 miles and not many of those were put on during bug season. As you look at the grill of a 2014 RT you will see that the holes are quite large and would not stop a lot of debris from getting to the radiators. The tech said that he has seen a screen that some people have put in front of the grill to stop bugs and other stuff from getting to the radiators. Just wondering if there are any of you out there with the screens or have heard of them.

Thanks

How are mounting blocks attached?

I will be picking up my 2015 RT-S one of these days when the snow/ice finally melts here in Massachusetts. In the meantime, I've been scratching the itch by shopping for farkles.

I've looked at the SpyderPops grills and was looking for installation instructions. The site just has pictures but no words for the 2014+ grills. How are those black block (rubber?) mounting points attached to the Spyder?

They have 4 plastic blocks for each side that attach to the Spyder with double face tape, then the grills attach to the blocks with the enclosed screws so that you can remove them as necessary.
