• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Bruise’s Spring Mods Complete to My 2008 SM5
Much thanks to Tony Nery at TCP Cycles for his hard work once again.

  1. Installed ISCI Handbrake – I wear a leg brace on my right leg so I couldn’t have asked for anything better. ISCI gives a discount to handicapped riders such as myself so I thank them for that perk.
  2. Replaced the rear tire.
  3. Had the rear wheel and sprocket powder coated with a Mirror Silver Clear Finish.
  4. Installed EBC Semi-Sintered Pads on the Rear.
  5. Added Kewl Metal Mirror Extensions
  6. Installed Bores1 Mirrored Brake Pad Caliper Kit
  7. Installed Bores1 Stainless Steel Swing Arm Panels
  8. Installed Bores1 Advanced Turn Signals
  9. Installed a Scorpio SR-i900 Alarm using the Can-Am Spyder Factory Connector Kit – I don’t mind the looking but the touching and sitting on it part got old fast.
Combined with my winter mods which I posted previously, I don’t have much more to do than ride (but I am in search of a trailer).

pics?

hi bruise, can u post some pics of your powdercoating? sounds very interesting.

:agree: Piics are cool... Tell me a little bit about the Bores1 mirrored caliper kit...
Do you have a link for them?

Bores 1

Hello - The Bores products can be found at: www.bores1.com I have brought several of their products and have been satisfied with every purchase. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of the rear wheel after I got it powercoated prior to the install but I'll take some pictures and post them once the sun returns.

Spring Mod Photos

Well it was nice enough for me to get some decent pictures of my spring mods including the installation of my Scorpio i900 alarm and the controller for the XKGlow pods that are mounted under the seat. Thinking what I can do for Summer Mods!
