• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP Posted my Roadtrip to the Smokies

 I remenber seeing your GPS system in Gatlinburg or Lamonts
I thought it was a little Micky Mouse looking but obiesly it works :2thumbs:
great pics :spyder:

I've never been in a dirt storm.

Anthony, great ride and write up.

By the way, I was out in that wind you experienced - it came through NM too. Not quite as bad here, but we get those too often in the Summer. I really had a laugh at your description of the cross wind effect. It does feel that you are going to be blown off the bike. Makes for a memorable ride, huh.

What kind of cold weather riding gear did you have?

Enjoyed reading it all and good pictures.

Tom

BRP posted my roadtrip to and from the smokies. As many of you know, I took the Scenic route. It was quite an experience. Anyway here is the link. I hope you enjoy the read, if you chose to do so.

Nice write up--- just make sure not to try and sell or make $$$ from the photo of the crow---- believe it or not--- it's still illegal in the US to film crows for commercial purposes. Crazy eh?

Looks like you had the time of your life!

My cold weather gear consists of Ski pants, leather jacket, and thicker gloves

Awesome pics and sounds like overall a great trip

I noticed in the pics you have something on the top and sides of your windshield. what is it?

Its a piece of molded Rubber that is suppose to help deflect more wind. since I'm not into the big windshields, a friend gave it to me to try. It does deflect some of the wind, but it's still not what I'm looking for.

Very cool. When I grow up. I want to be just like you.. I would really like to do a trip like that one of these days.
