• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP Oil change kit has synthetic blend oil! What do you use?

I was under the impression that the BRP all synthetic oil was best for the 1330 Rotax engine. Went to the Can Am dealer to get a oil change kit and was surprised that the oil was the BRP synthetic blend. I didn't buy it because I wanted to use the all synthetic. Maybe some of you long time Spyder owners can tell tell me what your using and what you think is the best oil to use.

The kit is a blend and that's what brp recommends. My dealer charges $200. and I recommend having your dealer do it unless you are tech savvy.

Ooh oils....🤔

BRP does have the full synthetic and as good as any. Many here use the Amsoil from BajaRon and get their filters from him as well. There are many good oils out there and if you search it you may have to take a few days off to read them all. I use the synthetic blend and it does well for my type ryding...
