• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP OEM Floorboards vs. Ultimate Floorboards

My new 2018 F3-T came with the BRP OEM floorboards. I thought it was coming with pegs. I like how the Ultimate boards come farther back. My issue is with a 30" I don't have much room to go straight down. The Ultimate boards look like they drop a few inches lower at the flat area. So, if you've had the OEM boards and then went with the Ultimate ones, was it worth it? I am at a position 4 and that's only because of the brake pedal being much easier for me when it is out some. More of a foot operation instead of a lift my leg deal.
Why they didn't just make a right hand brake and leave it at that is beyond me. That brake rod connected to leg comfort position is a major design flaw IMHO.
Thanks!

I've got an RT, not an F3 but I seriously considered an F3L (and probably would have bought it if I had known there were aftermarket windscreens). The 1st mod I would have done would have been Pierres Ultimate floorboards. I've watched all of his videos and read various posts across the web. I have yet to find anything remotely negative about his Ultimate Floorboards.

All I can say is that the Ultimate floorboards are awesome. Best money I've spent on a bike, comfort-wise, and style. Being able to move your feet and change leg position is wonderful. It also makes it easy to get on and off the Spyder. They are not inches lower. It's just slightly lower. If you have a 30" inseam, you should still be fine.

I couldn't agree more. I haven't done a whole lot to my F3-T but the Ultimate Floorboards is the best mod I have done. I take some pretty long trips for work (600+ miles) and being able to move my feet back and forth really helps change the pressure point on my butt. I might also add that my AirHawk cushion helps in that regard as well. You won't be disappointed.
